The distinctive North Canterbury wine has loads of personality. From vines over 30 years old, it is fragrant and fullbodied, with tropical-fruit flavours, a subtle seasoning of oak and a tightly structured, lasting finish.

This is a very complex and zesty style with such piercing, lemon and green-mango aromas and flavors, delivered in a rich, powerfully concentrated frame. So much fruit here.

Subtle struck match and leafy. Strident on the palate … fresh and lively. The waxiness of the Sémillon balances the very herbal Sauvignon.

Gorgeously complex and engaging, the bouquet shows grapefruit, kaffir lime, flint,
toasted almond and lemon peel aromas, leading to a concentrated palate that's vibrant and richly textured at the same time. It's opulent and powerful with bright acidity, finishing impressively long and mouth-watering.

Powerfully expressive nose of tropical fruit, bonfire smoke, citrus, honey musk and pea pod. Lots going on here. Delightful creaminess to the texture. A bittersweet almond/apricot kernel note, at first pungent, subsumes into the wine adding a counterpoint to the almost honeyed richness.
Fascinatingly complex example that shows its raciness with aeration. Excellent to outstanding.
Cameron Douglas 94/100
An alluring bouquet of white fleshed fruits and fresh green herbs, but then again it’s also tropical fruits and crushed limestone
with a whisper of salty air - this is the juxtaposition in action. A very clever bouquet. It is also intense and familiar,
seductive and charming. On the palate delicious wine with a core of fruit, vibrant texture with abundant acidity and long steely finish.
